ABSTRACT
The 5G-MAG report "Towards a comprehensive 5G-based toolbox for live media production" identified a series of high-level scenarios where time synchronization is a required feature. Time synchronization is found key to align different media sources either within the same location, when carried over different network domains (fixed/wireless) or to support remote operations and control.
This report provides:
information on the ability of 5G technologies to support time services in relevant deployment scenarios; and
guidelines in relation to time information distribution and exposure to applications.
