A small number of repositories are set to private: projects still in development, and auxiliary tooling that supports development rather than implementing a specification. Members and/or active contributors can request access below — every request is reviewed manually, based on who you are and your answers in the form, not granted automatically.

Only these are currently gated — everything else in the Reference Tools and Testbeds portfolio is already public. The one partial exception is MPEG V3C Immersive Platform: the project itself is public, but its example-content repository is gated on its own and listed separately above.
