The 5G-MAG Steering Group has approved the membership of Fraunhofer FOKUS.

Fraunhofer FOKUS conducts research on digital transformation and its impact on economics, technology, and our society. The business unit Future Applications and Media (FAME) offers its project partners the technical know-how and solutions for the realization of modern media applications. Research and development focus on the implementation of machine learning for media technologies, the interoperable support of various media platforms and the personalization of services and the interaction with these services on a wide range of end devices.
Moreover, the development, testing, evaluation and demonstrations of Media Applications and Services operated within a 5G and future 6G environments plays a crucial role. FAME is active in corresponding standardization committees and supports industrial partners in the development and evaluation of interoperable solutions.
