ABOUT THE PLUGFEST

5G‑MAG is hosting the 5G Broadcast Plugfest, an event designed to bring together implementers, manufacturers and software providers ready to build equipment and applications aligned with ETSI 103 720. This Plugfest creates a uniquely and confidential collaborative environment to test, validate, and foster the implementation of 5G Broadcast equipment.

WHERE: Berlin (Fraunhofer FOKUS premises). More details soon, including shipping address for bulky equipment.

WHEN: 9-11 June 2026 (possibility to set up on the 8th June 2026). The PlugFest will be running from 9:30 until 18. On the 11th June we expect to finalize by 14:00 to allow some time for dismantling.

8th June (Voluntary setup - the premises will be open for you to setup but please bring your own food)

9th June

9:30 - Welcome to the participants and kick-off of the PlugFest, includes setup in the morning.

13:00 - Start of the testing after setup

18:00 - End of Day 1

9:30 - Start of Day 2

18:00 - End of Day 2

We will go for a PlugFest Dinner (location and time will be confirmed)

14:00 - End of the PlugFest

Please note the submission of this form does NOT yet confirm your participation. The 5G-MAG Project Office will contact you and follow up with:

  • The processing for the payment of the requested tickets.

  • A Participation Agreement to regulate the confidentiality of the testing and results among participants.

  • The draft testing plan for your review and inputs.
