DEMO: Bringing 5G Media Streaming to life
We have a world's first public demo of 5G Media Streaming ready to be shown at IBC - International Broadcasting Convention.
3GPP's 5G Media Streaming is now part of the 5G-MAG Reference Tools open-source development programme and growing in functionalities!
Kudos to BBC's Richard Bradbury and John Elliott for bringing the demo on site!, to all the contributors involved from Fraunhofer FOKUS (Daniel Silhavy, Vuk Stojkovic), Qualcomm (Shilin Ding), Dolby Laboratories (Kurt Krauss) and BBC (Richard Bradbury, David Waring, John Elliott, Dev Audsin), and again to Fraunhofer FOKUS' Daniel Silhavy as he is also showing a demo on 5G Media Streaming at Fraunhofer's booth (8.B80).
The demo is running several components of our open-source suite (check what's available at developer.5g-mag.com)

Even more, both ORS Group and Bitstem GmbH are now offering FREE testing and demo licenses for 5G-MAG MEMBERS, of the NAKOLOS 5G BROADCAST CORE and BITSTEM 5G BROADCAST MODULATOR!
An open-source Android Middleware to play with CRDs will also be soon contributed to the 5G-MAG Reference Tools by ORS Group and Bitstem GmbH. Stay tuned!
