We are happy to announce the first release of 5G Multicast Broadcast Services (MBS) as part of the 5G-MAG Reference Tools. This release provides reference implementations of an MB-UPF, MB-SMF as extensions of the UPF and SMF of the Open5GS project. In addition it provides an initial implementation of AMF, gNB and UE with MBS. A simple AF/AS allows testing the setup.
