Beyond 2D Evaluation Framework

What it does​

The framework enables standardised benchmarking of encoding, streaming, and rendering pipelines for content that goes beyond traditional flat-screen delivery, feeding directly into 3GPP and MPEG standardisation of new immersive video formats.

The mapping follows the repository's multi-view plus depth (MVD) scripts, which run the TMIV encoder and decoder and compute objective metrics; the point cloud folder is not mapped. Click the figure to enlarge it.
