5G Core Service Consumers

The tools demonstrate how a media application server interacts with the 5G Core (the Policy Control Function (PCF) and Binding Support Function (BSF)) to request network resources dynamically. This project ships as a set of reusable service consumer libraries, and each library comes with a runnable command-line tool that demonstrates it. This page tracks the roadmap for the 5G Core Service Consumers. The boards below cover features that are built on top of the reusable service consumer libraries, for example adding Network Assistance and Dynamic QoS Policies to the 5G Media Streaming (5GMS) components, and the initial MBS User Services release.
