IEEE has 39 technical Societies that provide benefits to members within specialized fields of interest. The IEEE Broadcast Technology Society (BTS) is one of them focused on broadcasting and media distribution. The field of interest of the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society encompasses devices, equipment, techniques, and systems related to broadcast technologiy, including the production, distribution, wired and wireless transmission, propagation aspects, and reception.
