At MWC Shanghai (24–26 June, SNIEC), 5G-MAG showcased the live demonstration "Towards Media-Aware Intelligent Networks — Smarter Video Streaming for 6G" at Qualcomm's booth.

The demo was an open-source implementation of the 3GPP 5G Media Streaming specifications, incorporating Common Media Client Data (CMCD) from CTA WAVE, powered by the 5G-MAG Reference Tools with contributions from Qualcomm, BBC, Fraunhofer FOKUS and Dolby.
