5G Broadcast PlugFest in Berlin

5G-MAG organized its first 5G Broadcast PlugFest, bringing infrastructure vendors, technology providers, developers and operators together to test interoperability.

5G-MAG held its first 5G Broadcast PlugFest, three days of hands-on, multi-vendor interoperability testing bringing together equipment vendors, receiver and middleware developers, and operators. Participants paired core networks and transmitters from different suppliers and worked through a shared test plan spanning the full delivery chain — from core-to-transmitter interfaces to application-layer services.

In the lead-up to the event, interested teams registered to take part, and the community followed along and got involved via GitHub and Slack.
